Getting to the resort with your gear

Turin is the closest airport to the Milky Way resorts: Sestriere, Sauze d'Oulx and Bardonecchia are about an hour and a half up the Val di Susa, and Courmayeur is around two hours the other way. Trains run towards Oulx from the city stations, but the train is not a single ride from the terminal, and the climb to the resort itself is by local bus. That means more than one handover of a ski bag before the snow. With a private transfer the price is the car, whatever is in the boot.
